One of the things that bed bugs don’t like is hair. It’s easier for them to get close to the skin when they have less hair to deal with. They also don’t like heat. Extreme heat will kill them at only about a 115 degrees or extreme cold will kill them as well. So they will avoid those areas or that type of environment and stay in a nice climate cooled area which is why we have such a bad problem with them in our residence.
