Rodent & Spider Control You Can Trust
Rodents: Mice and voles are common here, especially near wooded areas, garages, and crawlspaces. We seal entry points, eliminate nests, and prevent reinfestation.
Spiders: Black widows, wolf spiders, and others thrive in hidden areas. We use targeted, eco-conscious treatments to protect your home inside and out.
Box Elder Bugs: While mostly nuisance pests, we help keep them from swarming your siding and windows during seasonal changes.
Our treatments are customized for Park City’s unique climate — not just a generic Salt Lake plan.

FAQ
Are your products safe for my family or pets?
Great question! Everything we use is both pet and people-friendly; derived from natural chrysanthemum flowers yet very effective at exterminating the pests that you are seeing. They are less toxic than toothpaste. We do treat many, many homes with both children and pets. As a family-owned pest control company, this is very important to us.
What guarantee do we offer?
All of our treatments do come with a 100% bug free re-treat guarantee. We’ll come back out free of charge between services if needed.
When are we available?
We are typically 24-48 hours out from the time we speak to set up service to having a technician out for your initial treatment. We do offer services Monday-Saturday 8AM – 6PM at your convenience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our service professionals are highly trained and pest control licensed. It’s more than that. It’s about communication. It’s about really listening to the homeowner, and understanding just how the pests are impacting their way of life. It’s about knowing neighborhood pest trends. It’s about knowing why the pests are there in the first place. It’s knowing the most effective treatment methods to get rid of them, and make sure they never come back.
What’s included in your service?
Each treatment will be tailored to the needs of each home. With our services, we do an intensive full home, inside-out treatment that includes:
Interior:
– A specialized in-wall outlet treatment in which we remove some of the face-plates off of the electrical outlets and apply products within the exterior facing walls.
– Treating common moisture points like under sinks in bathrooms and kitchens.
– Treating common entry points like doorways and window seals on the main level.
– The garage floor is treated for any crawling bugs.
– Attic or crawl space treated for an additional $10 each if requested.
Exterior:
– Careful inspection for any pest activity
– Direct treatment to any and all activity; including ant beds/mounds, webs and wasp nests.
– Heavy exterior power spray of 8-10 gallons of product; creating a 3-5 foot protective barrier around the perimeter of the home.
– Granulation of all plants hooked up to a drip station within 25 feet of the home.
Once we’ve flushed everything out of the home with that initial service, we typically won’t need to treat inside again as long as we keep that barrier strong with those every 60 day treatments. Of course we’d be happy to treat inside whenever requested.
Why do I need treatments in the winter?
Every winter as the temperatures drop, the pests in our neighborhood are looking for a warm place to stay so they can survive. Our homes are the warmest places they can find. While we may not see a lot of pest activity during these colder months, they will commonly hide in the walls of a home during the winter, preparing for a spring breeding season.
Keeping up your pest barrier in the winter is important to prevent spring infestations!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Looking to put an emphasis on customer service, 20 years ago three brothers embarked on a journey to help ensure homeowners live pest free and happy! Fast forward to today and Bulwark Exterminating is still family owned and operated, keeping that same pest free promise.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with all those who are looking to be pest free. From those dealing with severe infestations, to those who have yet to see a pest and are looking to keep it that way; we service homeowners, renters, property managers, and commercial properties. Our customers love us!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
So many come to us at their wits end! “We’ve tried everything, and can’t get rid of the bugs!” “Can you help?” Of course we can! Our initial services take about an hour and are quite intensive! Full home, inside-out; we even take some of the faceplates off the outlets inside your home and treat inside the walls. Once we’ve worked to flush everything out of your home and off your property; our recurring treatments establish a strong barrier that keep those same neighborhood pests from coming back!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a free over-the-phone consultation so that we can talk about the pests you’re seeing, go over our treatment in greater detail, and schedule a time to have a technician come out. When we come out to your home, an inspection will occur then we will proceed to treat.
WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
Bulwark is the best! I use them for regular treatments as well as mosquito treatments, and both Rick and Damon are fantastic. Always very thorough and communicative – Damon even brought my recycling bin up the drive! Thanks y’all!
I have been a customer of theirs a couple of years. I have always been told to call if I have a problem in between my services and never do because I feel bad. I finally did due to all the crazy flies I am experiencing. They jumped into action and somehow finagled being able to work me into the schedule and were able to come out almost immediately. I will say that I opted to try the mosquito treatment this time around for the first time since being a client. We shall see if it works but so far so good no complaints. My tech, Charles Tucker did an absolute amazing job with communicating with me and listening to my needs & concerns. Out of all the technicians I have encountered the last couple years, Charles is by far the best. And truly, in this day and age, is hard to find quality staff. Every technician or office staff I’ve ever come into contact with has always been polite, respectful and professional. Charles Tucker takes it up a notch and you can tell he genuinely cares about the clients. Thanks Charles! And Bulwark!
