August 29, 2025What to Expect After an Exterminator Sprays for Spiders
August 30, 2025Bulwark professionals use various methods to remove rodents. Your exterminator will examine your property to determine the exact nature of your infestation during the initial visit. Then they will develop a pest management plan tailored to suit your needs based on the species of mouse and the extent of your problem. However, most treatments include a combination of mechanical traps and poisonous bait.
As mice and rats are similar rodents, exterminators use the same process to get rid of them. First, they inspect the property to determine what rodents you have, where they live, and the food sources and access points they’re using. They may use a UV rodent tracker, which highlights rodent urine around your home or business. They then seal the entry and exit points rodents use, including vents, holes, and crawl spaces, and remove their food sources.
With the rodents trapped inside the space, exterminators eliminate your mice and rats with bait stations and traps. Once the mice and rats die, your exterminators safely dispose of their remains and the traps, including the baits that can be dangerous to pets. They then ventilate the rooms so you can use them again.
