Pest Control Checklist
Use this checklist to identify pest activity and stop infestations in your home before they start!

Keep Outside Guests Outside
- Inspect all exterior doors for gaps and openings, and seal if any are found.
- Make sure all window screens are properly secured and do not have holes.
- Ensure all window frames are properly sealed.
- Make sure outdoor garbage bins are away from the home and lids fit securely.
- Inspect entry points for wiring and pipes and seal with caulk if necessary.

No Standing Water
- Clean up spills immediately.
- Keep sink areas clean and dry after use.
- Wring out wet dish rags and towels and hang to dry.
- Run garbage disposals to make sure they are clear of food and standing water.

Remove Food Sources
- Keep the food stored in your pantry in sealed, air-tight containers.
- Wipe down countertops after use and make sure they stay crumb-free.
- Rinse food containers before discarding.
- Clean stovetop, microwave, and other kitchen appliances regularly.
- Remove garbage and recycling from home at least twice per week.
